Video of the Day: David Catrow Talks About Have Fun, Molly Lou Melon!

Stand Tall, Molly Lou Melon! has been one of my favorite picture books ever since I read it on August 28, 2001. On that special day, I decided that I would introduce this spunky and lovable character to as many readers as possible.

I don't like declaring favorite authors or characters, but I want everyone to know Molly Lou Melon is one of my all-time favorite characters. I have read her story to third graders in Mokena, EFL students in Seoul, second graders in Kankakee, second graders in Oswego, and every child I've ever taught in Oak Brook.

Therefore, you can imagine my excitement when I found out Penguin was publishing Have Fun, Molly Lou Melon!

Have Fun, Molly Lou Melon will be released on October 25, 2012.
