School Social Worker: "I'm talking to two kindergarten classes about big fears and being brave. Can you recommend a picture book?" 

A Kindergartner: "I read Squish Rabbit. It's so cute. Is Rabbit in any other books?" 

A first-grade teacher:  "I would like to add some newer titles to my FRIENDSHIP unit."

When will I recommend It's a Dog's Life. 

A third grader: "Do you have any new dog books?" (An actual third grader asks me this at least once per week.) 

A second grader: "Do you have a Woof/English dictionary?" 

A first grader: "I want to better understand what my dog is saying. Do you have a book that explains what a dog's different moves mean?"
