I went back and forth and back and forth and back and forth and back and forth about whether or not I should present the same memorable books scenario that I did in 2011. After dealing with this conundrum for three days, I flipped a coin.

Fast forward to 2023. I'm having a lively discussion about children's literature and library services with a group of pre-service teachers and librarians. I mention that in 2012 I read 1,407 books. A lady in the front row raises her hand and asks,"Can you name 100 books you read in 2012?" I think about his question for a moment and then name these memorable titles.
