2013 ALA Youth Media Awards

I bet you're counting down the days until the ALA Youth Media Awards. For the second year in a row, I am attending the press conference. It is an incredible, moving, and overwhelming experience. You can feel the intense energy in the room. (It reminds me of the scene in Billy Elliot when Billy describes what it feels like when he's dancing...electricity.)
