*If I visited your school I’d start with some fun assemblies. One question I ask, “If a book sat on the shelf unread for a thousand years, would the story still exist?”
*The Library Lions blog is my way to Roar for libraries! I interview youth librarians in schools and public libraries across the U.S. to showcase their terrific programs. It was a blast interviewing Mr. Schu.
*Reading is walking in other people’s shoes. A book invites you to take a walk around in someone else’s life. Such walks can create a wider world view, and hopefully compassion.
