I picture myself roller skating down West 42nd Street. On my right shoulder rests a huge boombox blaring music from the musical Xanadu.Okay, stop daydreaming. Focus, Mr. Schu. Focus.

It is a charity event that benefits Every Child a Reader, "a literacy organization committed to instilling a lifelong love of reading in children." During the celebration, the winners of the 2012 Children's Choice Book Awards were announced.
