The Duckling Gets a Cookie!? received one of the most enthusiastic responses I have ever experienced. Nearly every hand shot up when I showed the book to a fifth-grade class. They all wanted to read it. When I played the book trailer for a second-grade class, they begged me to read it aloud. One girl asked, "Can we watch the book trailer again?" I advertised it around the school, and a steady stream of kids came to the library to find out more information about it.
