My friend Donna and I get together every Tuesday for dinner and to catch up on our favorite television shows. I spend the first ten minutes of this weekly tradition thinking about how I should be reading a stack of picture books and catching up on the Newbery Challenge. As soon as the guilt period passes, I thoroughly enjoy myself and relish every moment of this important tradition. (I think this is the sixth year of our Tuesday night tradition.) Since I rarely watch television, I feel like I live under a rock when movie trailers come on during a commercial break. For example, am I the last person to learn Snow White is coming to the big screen? My students would shout, "Yes, Mr. Schu!"
Mirror Mirror hits the big screen on March 30, 2012. Do you think Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm would approve of this adaptation?
Spend some time in Snow White's dressing room.
